Fathers day is this weekend! What's everyone doing?


News around our backyard farm:


  • Ashley, Emma, and I went camping up at pymatuning lake this weekend!
    • Emma got to go on a boat and swim for the first time! She loved it

  • The little Dot boys have started to crow! Thankfully one of our fans took them for two people she knows that where looking for roosters! 

  • Someone my dad works with gave him two pumpkin plants! (We don't have any room for them but looks like I'll be making some!

What's Going On In Our Garden





Took out the radishes and beets and replaced with sweet potatoes 


Mustard plants going to seed


Potato box has started to bloom


Tomatoes are growing nicely


Cantaloupe is starting to vine!


Starting to get some BLUE


Sweet potatoes are really doing good!

Waste high potatoes :)


Our grow bag potatoes are doing okay


I was digging around the garlic and its looking like we have some really nice bulbs!

Onions are developing nicely


Cucumbers are finally starting to climb

Our shallots (not sure when they are ready to be picked)




Green beans are off to a slow start

Our rosemary is really coming back 
Our other rosemary we bought this year
